It has been reported that there is a scam that could be affecting claimants.  The scam involves the claimant receiving a text message stating that they have received unemployment updates and to click a link to view them.  The link that has been reported is “unemploymentclaims.org.”  Anything that is sent from VEC would end in .gov.  Do not click the link or reply to the text message in any way.
